Delicious in its simplicity, can be served for breakfast, lunch or as a snack, always accompanied by a &#8220;cafezinho&#8221;.<br>The recipe has few ingredients (local foods) and it is very easy to make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br>\u2022 3 ripe plantains<br>\u2022 a pinch of salt<br>\u2022 200 g di cocco fresco grattugiato<br>\u2022 sugar (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preparation method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Wash the whole plantain with the peel on. A ripe plantain has a dark skin with reddish pulp.<\/li><li>Cut the ends off and cut each plantain into two or three pieces.<\/li><li>Put the plantains in a pot with a pinch of salt and cover with cold water. Cook until the skin cracks and the flesh becomes tender. It takes 10-20 minutes.<\/li><li>Peel the cooked plantains and let them cool.<\/li><li>Using a fork crush them and add the grated coconut a little at a time.
