Bolo pega marido (Husband-Catcher Cake)

"Bolo pega marido" is a cake with a pudding-like consistency. It’s a variation of "Pudim de leite Moça" (Milk Pudding), a traditional brazilian recipe, enriched with coconut milk and flour. It is a delicate cake with personality, very quick and easy to make!


Preparation method

1. Blend all ingredients together with a mixer, until the batter is smooth.

2. Brush lightly a ring mould with melted butter and sprinkle with all-purpose flour.

3. Pour the batter into the ring mould.

4. Cook in preheated oven at 190°C for about 40 minutes. Stick a toothpick in the center of the cake, if it comes out clean the cake is ready.

5. Wait 5 minutes before unmolding.

6. Prepare the topping (if you want): combine all the ingredients together and bring to a boil. If too dry add a little more milk . Spread hot glaze over top of cake OR when you serve top each slice of cake with a spoon of glaze.
