Pinga com mel (“Pinga” and Honey)


Pinga com mel is probably inspired by Polish tradition, in which honey also flavours vodka. It is prepared on winter evenings in Southern Brazil.


Ingredients
• pinga or vodka
• honey
• raisins, optional

Preparation method
Add a few tablespoons of honey into the pinga bottle. Shake the closed bottle to dissolve the honey and, if you like, add a handful of washed raisins. Then let it “age” at room temperature.
Serve in small glasses.
